i always thought it would be me this would happen to but lo and behold, it was someone else. someone else was destined to be the person who's fate was on the line.

sure enough, it was SOMEONE ELSE who got hit by a bus on campus. i was in interior design class and we heard the ambulance stop right outside our building. it was loud too. after class was over, i walked outside to see a firetruck and an ambulance and a girl lying on the road with a bus stopped right behind her and a crowd of people as the paramedics put her on a stretcher. the poor bus driver looked like he was going to have a heart attack. he was my favorite bus driver too. he was this chubby black dude with long wavy, greased, slicked back hair. i love it!! i don't know how bad this girl was hurt but it was wierd to see none the less.

since my sis works at the hospital, she gets the juicy details of stories that the media doesn't get to know. I'VE GOT A NASTY STORY! ok, this guy, i'll name him poncho, had a pregnant wife whom i will name lupa. poncho suspected lupa of running around on him so he beat her unconcious and took a knife and tried to cut the baby out of her himself. dumbass poncho cut from the belly button up. a vertical line in the wrong direction. so he was trying to cut her open to get the baby and the sight of it all was so sickening he threw up on her open stomach. he didn't get the baby and i guess he jetted. anyway, lupa was found today around 4 by her coworkers and went to the hospital. she had her baby but it was sick because it had had been exposed and had been sitting in vomit infested insides. it's a pretty gross event. the mom is still in critical condition and poncho is in jail on a $250,000 bail. i swear to god, all the crime in lubbock involves poncho's. we read the paper today and they didn't say anything about him vomiting but they said poncho had tried to get the baby out. so diary, you are on the inside. shhhhhhhh.

and yet another story i just read in rolling stone. maryann measles was a 13 year old girl who was gang raped, and murdered in the town mr. deeds was filmed in. anyway, to sum it up, she was having sex with this guy who was 18 and she told her mom and her mom made her press charges. this guy and his 7 friends, whom she hung out with regularly, threatened her life and one day they abducted her from a grocery store while her mom shopped, and took her down to a river and one fat guy had sex with her while another quote "shoved his d... in her mouth." the magazine was graphic. well she tried to get away after that and they caught her and strangled her for a bit then since she was still alive, they put her head under water. after she was dead, the 18 year old had sex with her dead body. her freaking dead body. how sick is that? all these people were jacked up in the head. 5 years had passed before someone fessed up. so that was another story of mine. the things that people do these days. it's perverse.

let's hope i don't get my 89th overdraft charge this statement period. it's sad but true, i am the queen of overdraft charges.

i start paper mache in art tonight. i am happy. it will be fun and she said it's really messy so i can't wait. i am still hopeful that i might be an art major but if my art skills don't buck up, then i'm screwed.
