i got a coffeemaker at walmart! i told whitney that i had taken vivarin but she said it wasn't good for you and that she drank coffee and felt fine so i thought....jamie, you haven't tried coffee. so i got three little packages of flavored coffee. i think it's obvious i know NOTHING about coffee or how to make it. i had already gotten a small pack of swiss chocolate almond coffee a couple of days ago and decided i would try it...even though i didn't have a coffeemaker. i thought to myself "all a coffeemaker does is heat up water and run it over coffee grains". so i put some coffee grains in a pan and boiled water with them in there. i seriously was clueless about coffee. i didn't know how much coffee to put in there. the water started to boil so i figured it was done. or something like that. i tried to figure out how i could seperate the water and grains. so i tried a papertowel. um ya, the coffee just rocketed off the paper towel and didn't really go through. so i just slowly poured the coffee into the cup and tried to keep the grains out. i tasted it and it tasted like shat. it was just brown colored water. haha, ignorance in this case was fun. so last night at walmart, we went down the coffee isle and i told jessie i tried to make coffee and she laughed at me. she said you can't make coffee without a coffeemaker. oh, my bad.

so i got up this morning and decided to make a cup of coffee. but there was one problem. i had no clue how much to put in the filter. so i just put 2 tablespoons and filled the water thing all the way up. i believe it was 12 cups. the glass thing started filling up but it was just light brown water. it hit me that i didn't put enough coffee in there for 12 cups. duh. so i put some more in. i didn't even think when i was putting water in there that i was about to make 12 cups of coffee. i'm still learning about the whole coffee process. after it was done, i poured myself a glass and it was kind of watered down. i need to learn how to do this stuff if i want coffee.

for the first time in about 2 months, our house is spotless. i cleaned my room the other night and i guess that sparked her to go on a cleaning streak. i love our living room. it's so cute. purple furniture and a purple/beige/green tiger rug and a poppazon (don't know how to spell that) chair with a khaki seat and cute pillows. i just might have to take pictures. SWEEEEEET!
